The Pocket Macquarie Dictionary defines fiction as:
Stories or works of the imagination, especially in prose form as novels
or short stories; something invented or imagined; a made-up story.
To put it in my own words:
each and every story posted here at Tabula Rasa is entirely
made up. They are the products of an extremely vivid
and sadistic imagination, and to the best of my knowledge none of the events
depicted ever occurred. I write fan fiction for three reasons: I have the talent
for it, I’m passionate about writing, and I’m a Hanson fan. I am in no way
associated with any of the following entities: the members of Hanson, their
families, or 3CG Records. In plain English – I don’t know them, though it would be nice, and to be completely
honest I wouldn’t be writing fan fiction if I did. These stories have been or
are being written to satisfy my imagination and my muse, and also for the
enjoyment of those who choose to visit this site. I am in no way profiting from
the usage of Hanson as my characters, and I have absolutely no intention of
doing so at any time in the future.
I also wish to note that each
and every story published here, unless noted otherwise, is my intellectual
property – and mine alone. I am perfectly happy for my stories to be copied out
and saved for the purpose of reading offline, as long as that’s all that is
done with them. A great deal of time, effort and imagination has gone into
creating these works – should I find out that another author has taken credit
for my stories, be assured that I will do everything in my power to hunt the
offending party down, as this constitutes theft. Not only that, but I will set
my fellow Hanson fans on the warpath as well. You
have been warned.
