So I'm basically a moron. One of the most recent news posts on AO3 has made me realise that by writing song lyrics into my stories (apart from short quotes of a few lines or so), those stories are infringing on copyright. I can honestly say that I didn't know that fanfic was included in this, because I don't make any money from doing so. But I was wrong, and I fully admit that.
Therefore, my next major project will be editing a number of the stories posted here -- both finished fics and those in progress. The fics that will be edited to bring them into line are:
+ Defying
Gravity
+ Many The Miles
+ November Rain
+ Tether
+ Lanterns
+ The Basement Tapes
+ Desperately
Wanting
In addition, one story will be taken down
permanently -- Somewhere I Belong. I don't see myself
being able to edit that particular story without cringing the
entire time, so rather than put myself through that I will be
taking it offline. The ebook and PDF versions of the
aforementioned stories are included in my edits, so if you want to
grab any of the stories as they are right now I'd do it sooner
rather than later, as it's likely that many of those stories will
have to be changed substantially to accommodate the changes being
made. As usual, keep watch on my writing Twitter account for
updates.
I also have a special project in the planning stages that involves one of my finished fanfics -- what fanfic that is I'm keeping to myself for now, but those of you who follow me on Twitter and Instagram will probably have some idea. ;) I have no idea how long it will be before I'll be ready to start writing, but hopefully sometime this decade.

I have finally got around to posting Black Holes And Revelations and The Luckiest here. Both stories can be found linked from the usual page.
I've also moved the following stories to the On Hiatus page:
+
Out In The Blue
+ Love, Chaos And
Other Phenomena
+ Three Chords And
The Truth
+ Cherry Blossom
Girl
+ Twin Souls Trilogy
+ Tether
+ Fire And The Flood
Braving Darker Days is also in the
process of being massively rewritten -- after nearly eight years
of writer's block, I realised that I wasn't ever going to finish
it. I was probably a lot more annoyed by this than I should have
been. The rewrite will be posted solely in my Dreamwidth for the
time being -- once I've caught up to where I got up to on the
original story, I'll post the updated version here and at AO3.
And lastly, I've started writing a remix of
the story Avery, which was written by one of my best
friends around twenty years ago, with my friend's full permission
and blessing. The prologue and first two chapters of Sing For
Absolution have been posted and can be found linked from
the usual page. I'd wanted to write my own version of Avery
for a very, very long time, and I can only hope that I do it
justice. I'm hoping I can have the whole story finished either by
the end of this year or the middle of next year, depending on how
busy the final year of my Master's degree ends up keeping me.
While I can't guarantee how often it'll be updated, I can
guarantee that it won't be abandoned. I'm fully committed to
finishing it. Keep an eye on my writing Twitter account for
regular updates.

Just a very, very quick update regarding the way I've been posting story links here:
As of this morning my time (Australian Eastern Standard Time), I've had to lock down my AO3 account due to the discovery of a bot that's been found to have scraped fics posted to AO3 for use in training AI. I don't know for sure that my fics have been affected, but at this stage I'm working off the assumption that they have been. Which means that a number of story links leading off the site are now broken for those of you without AO3 accounts. The following stories are affected:
+
Black Holes And Revelations
+ The Luckiest
+ Fire And The
Flood
In the coming weeks I'll be working on
getting those stories posted here properly. In the meantime, as I
plan on keeping my account locked for the foreseeable future, I
have a number of AO3 invites available that I'm more than happy to
give out to any of my readers without an account of their own. You
can send me an email, or drop me a DM on Twitter or Tumblr. My
fics are also posted to my Dreamwidth as public posts.
I honestly hate that I've had to do this. I really do, and I'm truly sorry. I'll hopefully have an update for The Luckiest posted very soon that I hope will soften the blow somewhat.
